COMFA 2022 Annual Meeting dates confirmed: 10-12 October 2022
We are happy to announce that the Annual Meeting is scheduled to take place on 10-12 October 2022 (Monday to Wednesday) in Porto, Portugal. Please pencil in these dates before we provide you with the final confirmation of the venue.
The meeting will serve a monumental purpose in terms of scientific goals of the Action serving as a kick-off point for the upcoming Delphi process bringing together researchers, clinicians, patients, their carers, and the industry for consensus on the core outcomes for food allergy. Please look out for future newsletters, as we will be sending further information on the matter in due course.
Please be advised that these dates were selected to avoid overlap with the World Allergy Congress 2022 taking place in Istanbul on 13-15 October 2022.
ITC Conference Grants available
Please be advised that Young researchers and innovators from COST Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC) and Near Neighbour Countries (NNC) are encouraged to apply for ITC Conference Grants with a total value of up to EUR 2,000.00 per grant for face-to-face conferences or up to EUR 500.00 for virtual conferences providing contribution for travelling, accommodation and subsistence expenses, registration fee, the printing of scientific poster and overall effort.
Inclusiveness Target Countries: Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Croatia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Republic of Serbia and Turkey
Near Neighbour Countries: Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Jordan, Kosovo, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, and Tunisia.
Young researchers and innovators are defined as those who are either reading for a doctorate or who had their doctorate for less than 8 years before joining the Action.
